Update

Haven't blogged in a while due to the deadlines we have been trying to meet.
Today, we all submitted our final posters for printing. Can't wait to see how they look king size.
Our reports are due on Thursday; the next two days are going to be spent on working on it.

I made the Chumby widget public. It is called Near Dear. After user trials and suggestions from my colleagues, I added a few more features to it. It now has a keypad and so you can send custom updates to Twitter if the 6 options on it are not adequate.
There were a few other user suggestions that would really improve the widgets functionality, like different colors for different friends, changing options from the chumby itself, etc. Hopefully, I will get around to adding those features before the end of the week.

Apart from working on the report, I will be updating the website www.neardear.org to include the details of the user survey, more details about the project etc. I will also prepare a document outlining the technical aspects of the project for anyone who wishes to further work on this project. Woah..lots to do!
